With the Municipal Museum of Crato a protocol was signed for the transfer of five works from diferent Portuguese artists, with the aim of creating a contemporary art nucleus.

The works chosen were, "Berlim" (1968) from Manuel Trindade D'Assumpção, "L'aube chromatique" (1969) from Maria Helena Vieira da Silva, "Woman [Mulher]" (1981) from Júlio Resende, "Untitled [Sem título]" (1988) from Menez [Maria Inês Ribeiro da Fonseca], and "Human Path [Percurso Humano]" (1998) from Malangatana.
